I believe therapy should be tailored to each client because everyone has different needs. It's exciting to get to know each client and how I can be of help to them. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, and have a special interest in women's issues, young adults and couples. I have experience treating a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, OCD, postpartum depression, and relationship issues. I believe therapy can be beneficial for serious issues such as anxiety, PTSD, depression, etc. but that it can also benefit people looking to just grow personally. It is also a great place to learn healthy coping skills to manage daily stressors, because let's face it, we all have stressors! It is important to have a nonjudgmental ear to listen to you.

I have past experience with grief, substance use/ co-dependence , trauma, and dual diagnosis. I have worked in hospice, residential, and corrections settings. As an intern counselor with a pastoral background, I firmly believe that solid, Biblical counsel, along with integrative theories and techniques tailored to individual needs can lead to a place of "serenity" and well-being. So many factors in everyday life can take its toll on us. Thus, I believe that it is important to find someone you feel you can trust to listen with empathy to your story and help give counsel that is solid and reliable. My goal is to continue to help those struggling with grief, depression, or anxiety.

I find passion in empowering others to help them develop skills in order to become the best person they can be. I believe in helping clients identify and use their strengths to help overcome difficulties, whether it is struggling with managing life stressors or chronic mental illness. I have provided counseling to children and adolescents with symptoms of anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, and ADHD. I also have had training in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

Life happens. Relationships can be difficult. Childhood experiences and personal history may cause you to develop emotional or behavior adaptations that are not the healthiest. Depression and anxiety can easily set in. It is my goal to help you improve your quality of life.
My specialty is with clients dealing with depression/anxiety, familial conflict, relationship dysfunction and/or substance abuse.
Therapy should be a safe space to learn and grow. I have experience and enjoy working with clients from every walk of life. Spiritual perspective is available when appropriate and desired.
ANDREA LISOWSKI, MSSA, LSW
I am passionate about empowering individuals and working with them throughout the therapeutic process. I have worked with all ages and have experience of treating a wide variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use and disruptive/impulse control disorders. My passion is working with children, adolescents and young adults. I have extensive training in trauma informed care and utilize this approach frequently in treatment.
I utilize a variety evidenced treatment modalities including, motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I also have ongoing training in trauma informed care, play interventions and utilize various sensory interventions.
